LORD JAGANNATH SHOBHA YATRA IN SHAHZADPUR

The Chandigarh branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) organized Lord Jagannath’s Shobha Yatra at Shahzadpur (Haryana) with great preparedness, enthusiasm and devotion. Hundreds of devotees attended the Shobha Yatra and benefited their lives by chanting the Holy Name and by being part of the divine caravan of Their Lordships Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladev & Devi Subhadra. Local people turned out in large numbers and joined in chanting and dancing. Prasadam was served to all towards the end.
ISKCON Chandigarh is also celebrating World Holy Name Week from 9th-17th Sep 2017 to commemorate Srila Prabhupada’s arrival anniversary in the USA on Sept 17. Special nama-yajnas will be arranged in the temple throughout the period. The purpose is to spread the performance of sankirtan in its many forms, including japa, all over the world. The people of all faiths are invited to participate in the World Holy Name Week to create auspiciousness all over the planet.
